Does the original key still work after the installation of the Smart Doorman?

Yes, it still works, if the Smart Doorman is installed on the key of indoor lock.

How to decide whether the lock at our home is suitable for the Smart Doorman or not?

Our product can match most mechanical locks in the market. The exact specification could be referred to the Installation guide. You could also send photos of your lock to our email address, and we will reply you ASAP.

How to install the Smart Doorman after the purchase?

There is an installation guide inside the package. Simple installation steps are as following
1.Tear down the 3M traceless paster of the main bottom board as the picture shows on the right, and stick to the keyhole or the counter bolt;
2.Put the key into key cover, then put it into the lock;
3.Stick on the bottom board;
4.Buckle up the Smart Doorman on the bottom board, switch on the top;
5.Match and Debug with smart phone to open/close the door.

How long does it take to fill up the battery, and how about the endurance after recharge?

6-hours recharge leads to a 600-day long usage.

What if the smart phone is lost or stolen?

You can use the original key to open the door, or, borrow your neighbor's smart phone to download the APP, and login with the admin code. Your neighbor's smart phone only has the limit of authority for this time.

What system does the Smart Doorman support?

Support both Android 4.4+ and iOS 8.0+.

What if the Smart Doorman is powered off?

One recharge for the Smart Doorman offers a 600-day usage. There would be low battery alarming volume when the power is lower than 20%. At the same time, the matched smart phone would notice you the volume of power. The original key could be used to open the door as well.

How to recharge the Smart Doorman?

Use Micro USB cable to recharge the Smart Doorman. It will take 8-10 hours to recharge the batter. The design of quick-dismantle body and the buckle on the bottom board would assist to dismantle and recharge the Smart Doorman immediately.

Can one APP manage several Smart Doorman?

One app can match several Smart Doorman. However, it cannot manage these Smart Doorman at the same time. Each transfer requires a disconnection with the previous one.

Does the Smart Doorman still work after I go out and use the key to lock the door outside?

No it doesn’t, because after the key is pushed out of the protecting top, the Smart Doorman would only work after being pulled back to position. Thus, after using the key to lock the door from the outside, you can only use key to open the lock again.

Can one paster be used twice?
